This is a test for the new video blog I mentioned in another thread.

Comments on the questions you would like to see asked going forward would be appreciated.

Really good! A perfect example of a tech savvy, young and demanding video user.

Also, love the fact she mentions some linking sites on here like suftthechannel and alluc, that link to illegally hosted content. Just proves though that VOD needs a serious kick because if people can't get the content that they want, when they want it, they'll just get it from illegal sources, whether that be streaming sites or torrents. Bring on SeeSaw, Hulu etc!

She's clearly switched on when it comes to online; would be good for the next person to be of a different demographic and age (sure that is coming anyway).

Thanks Mike. Look forward to more.

Thanks Jonathan, glad you liked it!

My strengths don't really lie in research though, and I think that if I am going to make more of these they need to be of use/interest to the wide video community, so I need feedback on questions that people would like me to ask.

Any thoughts?

There is a new interview live here -> http://miketeevee.wordpress.com/2010/01/16/consumer-interview-video-usage-2/

Would like some feedback on how they could be improved.

A great initiative Mike. Watched the interview with Anna too. Interesting that viral/word of mouth comes into play when it comes to choosing what VOD to watch. It might be interesting to find out how much consumers follow branded channels such as 4OD, Five and Sky versus specific content, like a particular favourite series.

keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback, JP, I'm glad you found it interesting. I'm sure I have seen research to procve that consumers watch programmes, not channels, but I'd be happy to include the question from now on to find out.

Please let me know if you think of anything else.

Liked the second one too. Interesting to hear she was focused on short form video with her viewing - despite being a heavy digital user, TV watching is still primarily done on the TV. I think with so much focus on VOD and the innovation there right now, short form can get overlooked.

I also am not very researched focus so can't suggest anything great for questions right now, however, I like the direction of the second one where we get an idea of other media consumption as well. More videos along these lines would be good, really good at building up better pictures of users.
