Online TV, long and short form video, IPTV

Telegraph TV will take interactive internet video to a new level when Tony Blair appears before the Iraq inquiry on Friday 29th January 2010.

Not only will we be streaming his appearance live on our websites home page ( www.telegraph.co.uk ) but viewers will also get the opportunity to vote on whether they think the former PM is telling the truth or not at any point during his evidence. The ‘lie detector’ which is powered by Quick TV will show running results of how people are voting.

The video will also have live rolling headlines on screen and links to related content like blogs and highlights and there will be plenty of opportunity for viewers to leave their own written comments as well.

Due to the nature of the content, there will be no pre-roll or InSkin on the player, but there will be a leaderboard and an MPU on the page - we're hopeful that this should deliver a huge spoke in both traffic and dwell time.
